Basalt reinforcement ropes are an easy way to structurally reinforce columns in a building. Reinforcement/rehabilitation of columns with basalt ropes takes up minimal space and does not require additional reinforcement structures.
Usage of basalt reinforcement ropes is also effective on new constructions. During the construction of high-rise buildings, the strength of the concrete in the columns may be less than the design requirements (low quality concrete supply, errors in pouring and layering, adverse weather conditions, etc.). In such cases our basalt laminates have no alternatives as they are an inexpensive solution to solve the problem.
In older buildings, basalt ropes can increase the load bearing ability of the existing columns and make construction of additional floors possible.
